Cost
We welcome both emerging and established artists working in 2 and 3D media, painting, sculpture, performance, video, photography, sustainable materials, etc. We also welcome curators, researchers, and art groups over the age of 18 with no limitation on nationality. Artists-parents with their families are invited too.

Artists may apply more than once every calendar year.

Participants are expected to be able to communicate effectively in English.
To apply, please send to us:

Short bio - no more than 500 words - (listing past exhibitions, residencies, and related experiences)

Artist statement or other relevant information about your work

6-10 images of your work (or links to web page) (Images should be sized no larger than 3MB each) along with a list of work stating title, material, dimensions, date; or links to 5 videos of current work (10 minutes in length or less).

Summary of proposal (description of the work you would like to do during the residency, including the type of materials you would prefer to work with (no more than 500 words). Artists are also invited to submit information about their interests during the residency, such as having an exhibition or a seminar, master class, etc.

Information about the type of residency you wish to attend: family residency, visiting residency, or fixed-term residency, as well as preference for time of residency. Residencies range from 1 week to 4 months

We reserve the right not to notify each applicant separately about the selection process. The selected applicant/s will be notified by email

No application fee required.
Applications are reviewed according to the following criteria:

Clarity of artistic vision as articulated in the artist statement and work samples

Persuasive evidence that the applicant is committed to purpose and practice

Commitment in their work and in relation to the artist residency.

For family and visiting residences - throughout the year

For fixed-term residences – twice a year:
- by March 15 for residency between September 15 and October 15;
- by September 15 for residency between April 15 and May 15.
